Tick Control

Ticks wait at the edges of woodlands, tall grass, and wildlife trails — wherever they can find a passing host. Black-legged (deer) ticks carry Lyme disease, and they've expanded into Northwest Ohio in the last decade. Yard treatment focuses on the edges and shaded areas where ticks actually live.

Signs you might have a problem

  • Ticks on pets after they go outside
  • Ticks found on family members after yard time
  • Property backs up to woods, fields, or a wildlife corridor

Our approach

  1. 1Inspection of yard perimeter and edges
  2. 2Targeted treatment along woodland edges, fence lines, and tall-grass areas
  3. 3Two-treatment seasonal program (spring + mid-summer)
  4. 4Recommendations on yard maintenance to reduce tick habitat

Common questions

How often should ticks be treated?
Two treatments per season — late spring and mid-summer — covers the active period for both nymphs and adults in Northwest Ohio.
